After a few days in LA, headed east to Palm Springs and then onto Joshua Tree National Park for a few nights.
We did the aerial tramway cable car up high into the mountains about 8000ft above sea level. The temperature difference!!! The cable cars go over 12 minutes and rotate slowly as they go up and down, so everyone gets a great view.
We stopped for a famous Drag Brunch in the town before heading north to Joshua Tree. Our Airbnb there was beautiful, in the middle of now where surrounded by the desert, rattlesnakes and cactus. Don't ever stand on one, I did accidentally and it hurt like hell!! Had to get my friends to pull the thorns out! Never again!
After chilling in the desert, we went to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon and did Guano & Eagle point. This is where the skywalk is although to be honest the views were equally spectacular from the other points, particularly Guano. On the way from there to Vegas, we stopped at the might Hoover Dam and did both the Arizona and Nevada sides.
