Lake Bled, Slovenia

Located 2 hours from the port town of Koper on the Adriatic coast, lies the small town of Bled and it's magnificent lake. In the middle is an island with a small church, overlooked by the imposing castle on the mountainside. This place is absolutely stunning! You can get a boat over to the island although in Winter, the lake freezes and you can walk across if you're brave!
